Group Counseling
The International Student Support Group meets once a week with six to eight international students and two group facilitators who are experienced with international student issues. It provides an opportunity for members in a safe environment to share their experiences, gain support, and explore new alternatives to deal with different issues such as language barrier, culture shock, racial discrimination, academic stress, cross-cultural relationships, and communication with faculty, peers, and others. The Counseling Center provides the following groups for international students:
- International Student Support Group
- Mandarin Speaking International Student Support Group
- Understanding Self and Others Group
